I'll admit, prior to seeing this movie, Andrew Garfield was that guy that did a decent job as quote Luke Benson, I am speechless. The fact that he didn't win an Oscar for this role amazes Garfield, I salute you. Your portrayal of Desmond Doss is one of the greatest things I have EVER seen. The real Silmarillion needs more than one movie. I mean the scale of epicness they could have for that is infinite and if well made I think most people would think LOTR was boring to watch in comparison. The writing would be pretty tricky, its been a long time but if I recall right they would have to add a lot of dialogue.
